Updated office layout

We aim to have comfortable workspaces by establishing new areas that are specifically built for meetings, concentration, communication, and relaxation. During the renovation, restrictions were put in place for coming in to work due to the declaration of a state of emergency. To share the excitement, we sent pictures of the gradually changing office conditions to the employees almost every day. We implemented initiatives to get the employees interested in comfortable and healthy workspace environments.

Meal initiatives

  • Providing healthy lunch menus by creating vegetable weeks/li>
  • Introducing office convenience stores
  • Displaying calories on vending machines/meal menus
As a small change that can be implemented immediately, we are working on improving the food provided throughout the company.
At the Minoshima Factory, the second week of each month is designated as a vegetable week, and a healthy menu based mainly on vegetables is served in the staff canteen as a “vegetable-rich menu.”
At locations that do not have staff canteens and provide catered lunches, we have set up office convenience stores so that employees can have at least some vegetables and side dishes.
By having at least one vegetable week in a month, we help employees increase their vegetable intake and improve their dietary habits, and raise each person’s awareness regarding health through food.
