We are promoting a company-wide initiative to create a safe and comfortable working environment by prioritizing the protection of health and safety of employees, which the management takes very seriously.

In particular, among the 17 SDGs, we are focusing our efforts on the following areas: Goal 3 (health and welfare), Goal 7 (energy), Goal 8 (growth and employment), Goal 9 (innovation), Goal 12 (production and consumption), and Goal 13 (climate change).

The adoption of the SDGs by the United Nations was an opportunity for us to reaffirm the correctness of the business direction we have been moving in. It was an important opportunity for us to consider the long-term risks and opportunities with regard to the issues we need to address and the path we need to take going forward.

Our vision is to become a "leading company that contributes to a sustainable society by creating new materials for people, society, and the Earth through unique technologies" and we have been working to achieve the same.
