Mitsubishi Cable Industries developed and commercialized the ultra-lightweight and thin-type

electromagnetic wave absorber for microwave spectrum (FP Series), which has excellent electromagnetic wave absorption property in the broad frequency bands from microwave to millimeter wave according to its structural features that the density of polymer fiber is roughened at the radio wave incidence plane side but then it is densified at the reverse metal reflecting plate side.
Due to this special density gradient-type structure of FP Series electromagnetic wave absorber, it is not necessary to apply such a metal reflecting plate as required for the general electromagnetic wave absorber, and it can be installed on any place including a curved surface, and its good absorption capacity is available.
FP Series electromagnetic wave absorber has not only good physical properties of the material itself but also has further improved weather resistance such as sunlight resistance due to its uniform coating with the carbon included in the special conductive coating material that is scientifically and firmly combined with the material.
As a result, FP Series electromagnetic wave absorber keeps the initial performance for a long period even in the severe use environment.
