- Can elongate service time of seal compared with using O-ring
- Can be freed from stick-slip
- Can reduce running friction
- The value of running friction is almost the same as the one of break-out friction
- Applicable to the same groove dimensions as JIS standard O-ring
- Available for high pressure (for reciprocating : ~20.6MPa[210kgf/cm2], for rotating : ~4.9MPa[50kgf/cm2]) condition without backup ring
